“Don’t let the politicians and news broadcasters become your only source of information,” warns Tucson-based tour company Gray Line, the people behind such day trips as the Old Pueblo tour, Best of the Barrio cruise and Tombstone: Memories of the Old West.

Their latest adventure? Border Crisis: Fact or Fiction, an “apolitical tour [which] aims to educate and alert you to the reality of living on the border.”

Billed as a  “fact-finding mission on the US-Mexico Border,” the tour includes a “run” along the border fence line, interaction with local border officials, access to a ranch “right in the middle of the action,”  and an inspection of emergency water tanks built by local humanitarian group Human Borders.

The $89 price tag includes lunch.
