Actually, we could only hope that were the case.

Getting his stereotypes confused, the former Capt. James Tiberius Kirk in his current role as Priceline’s “master of disguise” apparently did some costume shopping at Party City’s Cinco de Mayo aisle and wound up with a historically unaware gettup—maracas and all, in the discount travel website’s latest TV spot.  

Maybe it’s a double-whammy homage to both The Three Amigos and Aventurera; perhaps the confusion is part of the first stages of Mr. Peanut’s Latino Fever, who knows?
