Tales From Copyright Infringement

Lay your ears on “Pan con Queso” by Juan Bago.

A gripping tale of  waking  up to an empty fridge and the satisfaction received when munching on Dominican delicacy bread with cheese—the most hood of all sandwiches.

A take on rapper Wiz Khalifa‘s contagious anthem Black and Yellow, Bago—a ficticious Ali G-esque character who made his debut in the mockumentary The Story of Juan Bago at the New York International Latino Film Festival in 2006, follows the gangsta panadería cover trend we first reported on in January with Los Pelapapas de Nova York‘s Pan Americano.

Khalifa’s original song is a love letter to the Pittsburg native’s home team, the Steelers and their trademark uniform colors, and not an homage to The SimpsonsBumblebee Man as we here at El Zonkey Show originally believed.
