Half burrito, half sushi roll and all sorts of Wong, the San Francisco-based eatery has taken Bay Area foodies by storm with their Mexanese hybrids, which promise to “to challenge the status quo of sushi restaurants through creativity and innovation of flavors, form, and sourcing.”

The result? Portable Frankencreations weighing in at over a pound each, soy sauce-baptized with names like the Three Amigos, the Latin Ninja (rumored to have made Mr. Miyagi trade in his fly-catching chopsticks for maracas ), and the Lyn May-approved tuna and shiitake mushroom Mamacita Roll.
